Big Boy Jude!

Jude is definitley growing up. He can pull himself up, stand up while holding onto something, walk assisted by an adult's fingers :), moved to taking baths in the regular tub, hold his own bottle, wave bye, getting 4 new teeth, and eating finger foods. He is a joy and it is so much fun to watch him grow. He loves walking and so he wants us to walk around with him all the time. :) Here are some pics.

Jude is 9 Months Old!

Jude is 9 months old today! He is doing great. He is army crawling and gets all over the house. He is walking while holding onto our hands. He has started making more sounds, like "baba". He is enjoying his library story time more since he can interact with the other kids. He is a joy to be around, always full of smiles. We are so happy that he has joined our family!! Fourth of July

We took Jude to the Fourth of July fireworks show in Arlington, but they
didn't end up doing the fireworks until 9:45 so we couldn't stay that
long. We did have a lot of fun walking around and seeing all the booths
and people there. We also had a small celebration for my birthday on the fourth. It
was a great time! Here are some pics of Jude's patriotic outfit.

Planetarium at UTA

We took Jude to the UTA planetarium for the first time yesterday. They have a show made for kids called, One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventures. He had a great time looking up at all the stars and smiling and laughing with Big Bird and Elmo. It was a really fun time. He also got to visit mom and dad's university campus for the first time. :) Good times!

Cali Trip and a few other adventures

So, our trip to California for the Elias family reunion was great! Jude was a good traveler, overall, and we all had a great time visiting family and friends and seeing the sights in Cali. The weather there was beautiful. Jude had several "firsts" on this trip. He flew for the first time and took his first hike. He also got to meet a lot of great friends and family. For the first part of our trip, we visited my former college roommate, her mother, her husband and her brother-in-law. We had a great time catching up, playing badmington, hiking the Dish, enjoying some delicious food. We even took Jude to the Menlo Park library story time. :) After that, we enjoyed a few days of family time just the 3 of us. We spent a day hiking near Napa and then another day visiting wineries in Sonoma. Then, we met up with the Elias family in Benicia for the big reunion. It was great to see everyone and we are so glad that everyone got to meet Jude. We are all settled back home now and all is back to normal. :) Here are some pics of the California fun!
