Happy Valentine's Day (a little late :) from Teta and Jude!!

Eating, Sleeping, and Shopping Fun!

Here are some pics from Jude's 4 month photo shoot with mom. :)



Here are a few pics of Jude sleeping. So, right now, he goes to sleep at 6pm every night and has been waking up around 2am to eat and then goes right back to sleep until 6am. Definitely a schedule we cant complain about! :) This is how we found him a few nights ago. No matter how we put him in the crib, he always moves himself into the far corner of his crib with his face against the bumper. So hilarious!!







I took Jude shopping to get our groceries for the week. He really enjoyed being in the carrier, he spent the first half of the trip looking around at everyone and everything and the second half sleeping. So adorable!



He is really doing great with the cereal. Per the pedi, we can give him up to 4 Tbsp of cereal twice a day and he is all about that.


We were slowly working up to the 8 Tbsp a day, So, today he ate 4 Tbsp of cereal in the morning and then I fed him 2 more Tbsp in the afternoon to see if he would eat them. I left him to move the laundry to the dryer and this is how I found him, so I gave him 2 more Tbsp and he loved it. This boy really likes to eat!! :)

Jude is 4 Months Old!

So, Jude turned 4 months old on Friday, 2/10/12 and we have a lot of new stuff to blog about like grasping toys, sitting in his bumpo chair, the 4 month checkup, and his food escapades, so here it goes.

First, Jude has been grasping for things now. He can't grab the toys by himself, but if someone puts the toy in his hand, he can hold on to it. pretty cool. :)

So, the pedi gave us the ok to start feeding Jude cereal if we want. It is really not for nutritional value now, just to get him used to eating with a spoon, so here are some of our cereal escapades.


Jude really enjoyed his first experience with cereal mixed with breast milk. He didn't eat very much, but he did like it. :) Most of it got on his clothes. :)


Since Jude isn't really eating the cereal yet, he is more playing with it. I decided to mix it with water as not to waste breast milk and this was his reaction. Not a very big fan. :)

Jude is already very interested in what we are eating, so here are a few pics of some other foods he has tried. :)

Orchid From Dad

Here is the orchid that Michael bought Jude and I when we arrived home from the hospital after Jude was born. Michael has taken such good care of it and it has grown so much. It is beautiful!! Thanks, Michael/Daddy. :)

Jude's First Road Trip

We took Jude to Amarillo to visit Michael's family this weekend. He did great on the drive. He talked, laughed, played and slept. We had a wonderful time and Jude got to meet many of his aunts, uncles and cousins for the first time. Here are some pics of the fun. Unfortunately, we didn't get any pics of the Parijs family, but we had a GREAT time visiting you all.
