Fun at the Arboretum, the Park, and with some Delicious Strawberries

Jude took Teta and Jedo to the Arboretum to celebrate Teta's birthday and we all had a great time! Here are some pics of the fun!

5 Months Old

Jude turned 5 months old on 3/10/12, but he was sick with a cold so he was not in the mood to have his pic taken. :) He is feeling better now, so here are some pics of our fun over the past few weeks.

Orchid Update

Daddy has been taking such good care of the orchid (the one he bought for Jude and mommy when we arrived home from the hospital after Jude was born) that it grew so much and had to be replanted in a larger pot. It is so beautiful!

Dad's 33rd Birthday!!

Michael turned 33 yesterday so Teta, Jedo and Uncle Gabe came over to help us celebrate! Jude also turned 5 months old on Saturday, but he has a cold and is not feeling well today, so I will post his 5 month pics as soon as he feels better and I can take some good pics. :)

The park, the jumper, and more food!!!

Jude and I went to the park today since it was such a beautiful day outside!! We had a blast and here are some of the pics of the fun!!

Whenever Michael and I eat anything, Jude just sits and stares at our food. He often grabs for it also, so here he is trying a pretzel and another pickle. He really is going to take the food right off our plates, I can't wait to start making him his own food...one more month. :) Look how he is holding my hand, that is to make sure I don't take the food away before he is ready. :)

Austin Trip!

So, we went to Austin last weekend to visit Jude's new cousin, Isabella (and her parents, of course :). She is completely perfect and we are so glad we got to meet her! Nadim and Elizabeth (the new parents) are also doing great!! We also visited with Tante Nadia and some of mom's old friends. It was a great trip!!

Jude also got to meet Charly while we were visiting. Charly is Elizabeth's niece and she is a few months older than Jude. She is adorable!

Nadia took us to visit her work. Her office is really great, we were so happy to be able to visit. Jude was such a charmer, he smiled at everyone. :)


After we visited Nadia's work, we walked around Austin for a bit and did some shopping. We went to REI and Book People. We bought Jude some great books from Book People.


We also went to Trudy's for brunch and it was delicious. Here is Nadia and I with our bloody marys. mmmmm.


Jude also went to his first brewery. This is Nadia and Jude at the brewery. It was a great time!


Jude also stayed in his first hotel this weekend. He did great. This is a picture of him napping on the hotel bed. We took his pack n play and he slept great in it at night. He seems to be a great traveler, which is good news for mom and dad. :)


Teta and Jedo were nice enough to watch Jude one night, so mom, dad, Nadia, and some of our friends went out to dinner. We went to a great Indian place. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious and the company was perfect. We had a great night!


Before we headed home on Sunday, we went to Mount Bonnell, which is where Michael proposed to me. :)
